Help us honor Rev. Dr. John T. Kilzer and Dr. Chris Hena at the Living Awards Benefit event in Memphis.
John Kilzer is an ordained elder in the Memphis Conference who is serving God in groundbreaking ways. His powerful testimony and many gifts are changing lives throughout Memphis, especially through “The Way,” a service of recovery held every Friday evening at St. John’s United Methodist. John is receiving the “Inspiration in Faith and Health” award at the Living Awards Benefit.
Dr. Chris Hena is a Liberian born medical missionary. She has served all over the world, including Russia. After the KGB’s influence diminished, Dr. Chris became the first United Methodist missionary to serve in Russia in over seventy years. Dr. Chris now is working to reform the Liberian healthcare system through an initiative called “Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia.” Dr. Hena is receiving the “International Inspiration in Faith and Health” award.
We want everyone to know about this special opportunity to honor our brother and sister in ministry. If you’re interested in attending, please visit http://www.methodisthealth.org/livingawards or call the Methodist Healthcare Foundation at (901) 516-0500 and ask about The Living Awards.
The event will take place on Thursday evening, August 10, 2017 at The Peabody Hotel in Memphis. Other award winners to be honored at the event are Dr. Paul M. Douthitt, Dr. Robert S. Hollabaugh, Sr., and Memphis Jewish Home and Rehab.
