Cristen Craven Barnard of Senatobia, MS will bring a message titled “Have Faith Now” about how God makes His presence and His love real to us in every step of the process of grief. Cristen is a member of Senatobia First United Methodist Church and a former member of Lyon United Methodist Church. She serves in the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church as the Senatobia District Lay Leader. She is a certified lay servant, Bible study leader, Sunday School teacher, and lay speaker. She serves on several UMC committees and is also a member of the Emmaus Community of NWMS and is part of a jail ministry team in Tate County. She and her husband Robert have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Cristen has lived in Senatobia since 2008. She was previously from the Delta and has worked as a professional artist for 35 years.
Cristen refers to herself as a once prodigal daughter, now home. “My Lord heard my cry and lifted me up from the pit and embraced me in his love. He took this prodigal and changed my identity forever, for I am His.”
We are excited to have Cristen Craven Barnard as our guest speaker and know that she will bring encouragement with her message.
